Julian Pridgen AME Zion Candidate for Bishop 2024

Hello, my name is Julian Pridgen and I'm a candidate for the Office of Diocesan in our cherished Zion. I was birthed and elevated in a area called Whiteville, North Carolina, a tiny southeastern farming neighborhood situated in the coastal plains of the state. When it comes to church, my household's origins are deeply grown in the St. Mark AME Zion Church, Whiteville, where the Pridgen name is etched in the keystone of that framework today. My love for Christ and the church is longstanding as I've served the church from a little boy as an acolyte, usher, aide superintendent of the church school, Christian education, priest, and a lot more. After graduating senior high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps, where I stayed up until my retirement.
